Boro Angels are people of all ages, from all walks of life with one thing in common-
a compassionate heart, a desire to demonstrate love in action and the hope of seeing Middlesbrough changed for the better.
Boro Angels volunteers patrol the streets of the town on Saturday nights between 10pm and 3am.
Providing a caring presence and increasing a sense of safety amongst those out in the town at night.
The teams who work in groups of 3 and go out armed with first aid kits, blankets, lollipops and flip-flops.
We also direct people to taxis and call relatives for those who find themselves lost or
disorientated as well as offering a friendly and listening ear.
The Angels undergo full training and CRB checks and work closely
with Cleveland Police, Middlesbrough Council, the emergency services and late-night businesses.
