History

The opening of the Methodist Church in Ormesby on May 18th 1957, made a mark in local history.  To the best of local knowledge this was the first non-conformist Church ever to be erected in the ancient village.  This old Church is now used as a Community Hall, which many local groups participate each week.  A New Church was built at the rear and was opened on September 20th 1975

New Life Church

We also have the New Life Church worshipping in the Church Hall on Sundays at 11.30am.  The services are vibrant and a congregation of all ages.
