Welcome
Youth Works is a youth project based at Linthorpe Road Resource centre, Borough Road in the centre of Middlesbrough which provides an inclusive and welcoming environment for young people to come to and develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. It seeks to enable young people to know and reach their greatest potential.

Our Aims
To promote the personal, emotional, educational and social development of young people aged between 13 and 25. The Middlesbrough and Eston Methodist circuit Youth Works Project aims to establish an all inclusive service for children and young people that will engage them in purposeful and enjoyable activities; provide premises where they will come to feel safe and at home; where they can build friendships and confidants; and where they can access help, guidance and advocacy.
Here To Support
Youth works provides one to one support to young people who may be experiencing issues such as low confidence, low levels of self esteem, anger management, emotional problems, and motivational problems. Youth works aims to help them engage positively with school and provision outside school with youth clubs and other activities provided by us.
Using one to one sessions involving motivational interviewing, mentoring and counselling skills Youth works aims to give young people the opportunity to identify their own issues and the best way for them to work towards coping and dealing with these issues so they are able to fulfil their true potential. The sessions and activities will cater to the individual needs of the young person.

Money issues
If you need any support or signposting regarding anything to do with money, be it help with budgeting, opening a bank account, debt or anything else please speak to Matt Conant at Youth Works who will support you, advise you or put you in touch with specialist advice as required.
